Absinthe is very similar in type to her brother, Anchorman. She is extremely angular with a long bone pattern.  We were very pleased with Absinthe's 12th place showing at the 2010 National Show.  It was a large, competitive class, and although a bit on the small side, she looked very elegant and pretty. And, she even beat her herdmate Sicily! At the 2010 Minnesota State Fair, Absinthe placed 3rd with 1st place udder, right behind Sicily and Ajuja.  This past spring, Absinthe was bred to Act Menacing and freshened in early May with twin bucks.  We have bred her this fall to Ajax.

Sicily is tightly linebred on Arilla, and her dam, Sincere, was the 1st-place Junior Yearling at the 2008 National Show and Best Junior Doe in Show at the 2008 Minnesota State Fair.  She is tall, long, and extremely correct on her feet and legs. Sicily was the 15th place milking yearling at the 2010 National Show and the first place milking yearling at the 2010 Minnesota State Fair.  We think she holds a lot of promise for the future.  We bred Sicily to Kara Kahl Americus this fall.
